Charcoal grill and late-night service for the west.
Merrylands is our loudest room. It opened in 2023 around a four-metre binchotan grill, and the kitchen runs until midnight Thursday to Saturday because that's when the neighbourhood eats.
Head chef Daniel Haddad grew up two streets away, and the local chapter shows it: yakitori and wagyu skirt sit next to lamb chops brushed with miso and cumin. Dinner only during the week, a long lunch on Sundays.

What's different here
The same core kitchen as every Yuzu, plus the things only Merrylands does.
Binchotan charcoal
White oak charcoal from Kishu, burning at the pass all night. Skewers, whole fish, wagyu, corn.
Late kitchen
Full menu until 11pm and a shorter late menu until midnight, Thursday to Saturday. Cold beer until close.
Sunday buyouts
The whole room, the grill and a chef for up to 50 guests. Set menus from $70 per person.
Inside Merrylands
Bring everyone.
Groups up to 24 any night. Full buyout for up to 50 on Sundays.
Set menus are built from the core menu plus this venue's local chapter, so the table gets the best of both. Tell us about allergies when you book and the kitchen will plan around them.
Other Yuzu venues
Same core menu, different local chapter.
