The questions we get asked most on the phone.
Do I need to book?
Walk-ins are always welcome, but Friday and Saturday dinners fill up at every venue. Booking is essential for the Norwest omakase counter and for any group of 8 or more.
How long do we have the table?
Two hours for tables up to 6, two and a half hours for larger groups. If we're not busy we won't rush you. Omakase sittings run about two hours.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Not for tables under 8. Groups of 8 or more pay a $20 per head deposit, fully refunded with 48 hours' notice. Omakase seats are prepaid and refundable with 72 hours' notice.
Can you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes. Most core dishes have a vegetarian or gluten-free version, and every kitchen keeps a full allergen sheet. Please note allergies in your booking so the kitchen is ready before you arrive.
Are kids welcome?
At every venue. Epping is the most set up for families, with high chairs, a kids' bento and room for prams. The Norwest omakase counter is for guests 12 and over.
Can I bring my own wine?
BYO wine is available Sunday to Thursday at Pyrmont, Epping and Merrylands, with a corkage of $15 per bottle. North Strathfield and Norwest are fully licensed and not BYO.
Do you do takeaway or delivery?
Takeaway is available at all venues; call ahead and pick up in 20 minutes. Epping does pre-ordered bento boxes for weekday lunch, and Norwest delivers office platters within the business park.
