Chef plating a dish at Yuzu Dining

Yuzu.
We cook for you.

Modern Japanese dining rooted in one kitchen philosophy — seventy percent signature, thirty percent shaped by the neighbourhood you're sitting in.

It started with twelve seats on George Street.

Yuzu began as a twelve-seat counter on George Street. We served what we loved: clean dashi, rice cooked with patience, and a squeeze of yuzu on almost everything. The promise was simple — we cook for you, not for a menu template.

As neighbours asked us to open closer to home, we kept the promise and added a rule. Every Yuzu shares the same signature dishes, and every Yuzu leaves room for its own street — its markets, its people, its late nights and lunch rushes.

Today that rule is our identity: the 70/30 Menu.

The 70/30 menu

Seventy percent of every menu is the same wherever you eat with us. The other thirty is written by the head chef for that neighbourhood, and it changes.
